The resort had a lovely pool to relax in and a beautiful garden to wander around in. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The restaurant offered a great variety of local and international cuisine, and the breakfast buffet was a highlight with made-to-order omelets and fresh fruit. The rooms were well-furnished and comfortable, with air conditioning to keep you cool in the hot weather.
The location of the resort wasn't as convenient as we hoped, as it was a bit far away from the main attractions and city center. the Wi-Fi connection was quite weak in the rooms and only worked well in the lobby area.

We spent our Christmas holidays in a resort near Udawalawe National Park. the location was great, just a short drive from the park entrance and close to the elephant orphanage. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfy and clean. We really enjoyed the included breakfast, which had plenty of options and offered a taste of local fruits.
The dinner options were limited and expensive, which was disappointing. Our New Year's Eve celebration was also a letdown, with a disappointing set menu at the party and lackluster festivities.
